This depends on the level of cover you have. Physiotherapy services are generally included in health insurance as an optional extra. You will need to check with your health insurer if you have appropriate cover. Ask your physio for the item number(s) to understand the specific benefits you are entitled to.

This depends on the services you receive and the conditions being treated. Ask your physio for the item number(s) and speak with Medicare to understand the specific benefits you are entitled to. Your GP or medical practitioner may also be able to provide details on possible Medicare cover.
