What to expect from your golf assessment

  1. Step 1
One of experienced Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) certified physiotherapists will guide you through a physical assessment to evaluate your ability to physically perform the most efficient golf swing.
  2. Step 2
Your TPI physiotherapist will conduct a video swing analysis and integrate the findings with the physical assessment to identify swing faults, pain-provoking characteristics and movement challenges.
  3. Step 3
The results are assessed and you will receive a tailored treatment plan to help you improve your swing, manage your pain and prevent injury or re-injury.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I claim a golf physiotherapy appointment on private health?
Private health rebates may apply depending on your level of cover, so we suggest checking with your health fund before your appointment. You can ask us for the golf physiotherapy item number(s) to understand the amount back you are entitled to.

What do I bring/wear to a golf physiotherapy appointment?
Please bring your usual golfing gear, your golf shoes and your coach’s contact details if you’d like us to work together on your rehab and performance.

When should I schedule a golf physiotherapy appointment?
It is best to schedule your initial appointment before you have ‘warmed up’ for the day, as this allows all future re-evaluations to remain consistent and comparable.
