Hi, I'm Lochie Gelmi
Physiotherapist
Lochie began his pathway into physiotherapy by completing an undergraduate degree in Exercise and Sports Science before going on to complete his Extended Masters in Physiotherapy at Curtin University. Alongside his studies, he gained a wide range of hands‑on experience, including working as a sports coach for kids and as a sports trainer at WAFL.
He grew up on a farm in the Wheatbelt, where sport and an active lifestyle were a big part of his upbringing. He has experienced his share of sporting injuries through years of playing footy, which helped shape his interest in rehabilitation and supporting people through their recovery.
He has a strong interest in musculoskeletal conditions and enjoys the opportunity to build strong relationships with people to help them get back to the things they value most in life.
Outside the clinic, he enjoys an active lifestyle including running, especially half‑marathons, and playing tennis. He loves spending time with family and friends, whether that’s enjoying life in the south west or travelling back to his hometown. Lochie and his partner are expecting their first child in 2026 and he’s excited for the journey ahead as he steps into life as a new father.
