Hi, I'm Sarah Harvey
Physiotherapist
Sarah brings a Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy) (Honours) from Curtin University, along with something not every physio has – 15 years as a national-level gymnast, representing both the ACT and WA in interstate competitions!
That background shapes everything about how she practises. As a young gymnast, Sarah worked through her own share of injuries under a physio who’d been a gymnast too, and that experience of feeling understood is what set her on the path to physiotherapy herself.
Today, Sarah loves working with athletes, particularly in gymnastics, parkour and hockey (she’s still out on the turf herself), as well as with kids. She’s passionate about sports injury rehab that goes beyond just getting back on the field, while building in the prehab and preventative strategies that help keep injuries from creeping back. She’s a firm believer that catching problems early, before they start affecting quality of life, can make all the difference.
“I love working collaboratively with people to unpick their presenting problems, figure out what’s going on, then create a holistic management plan together to help get them feeling strong and pain free.”
Outside the clinic, Sarah is very much an outdoors person and loves camping, fishing, 4WDing, riding dirt bikes, cooking up whatever she’s caught, and of course, playing hockey.
