Kyu has a strong foundation in musculoskeletal rehabilitation and a genuine passion for helping people get back to the things they love -whether that’s work, daily life or weekend sport. He brings a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to every session, shaped by his years of clinical experience across hospital and private practice settings in both Korea and Australia.

Kyu’s clinical interests sit firmly in general musculoskeletal conditions, with a particular focus on strength and conditioning-based rehabilitation for return to work, daily activities and recreational sport. He has strong hands-on skills in manual therapy, trigger point release and deep tissue work, and holds additional certifications in dry needling, advanced strength and conditioning and PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation). He commonly works with conditions affecting the neck, shoulder (including rotator cuff), elbow, knee, calf and ankle.

Before relocating to Perth, Kyu worked in neurological and cardiorespiratory rehabilitation and also as a manual therapist in private practice in South Korea. It was during his international training, observing physiotherapy practice across Korea, the United States, and Australia, that he recognised the power of evidence-based rehabilitation and committed to pursuing it further. That drive brought him to Central Queensland University, where he completed his Australian physiotherapy degree with First Class Honours.

Outside the clinic, Kyu enjoys gym training, soccer and long road trips.
